Presentation of the artist
Meriame Louattani, is a French-Moroccan painter, born in 1993 in the southwest of France where she lives and works. After a degree in design, she undertook a one-year stay in South Korea and Japan which influenced her work. Upon her return, Mériame decided to devote herself completely to painting, inspired by her childhood spent between the Pyrenees and the Atlas Mountains. This heterogeneous Franco-Moroccan culture nourishes the work of the young painter. Very early on, Mériame developed through different mediums an artistic universe rich in vivid colors, from saffron to violet, through henna. This origin shows her the importance of celebrating her difference and sharing it with the world. Each painting is a search for the essence of the universality that deeply links beings.
