IncarNations – African art as a philosophy

With “IncarNations”, Sindika Dokolo and Kendell Geers question the complexity of African identity from a resolutely African perspective.

IncarNations is an exhibition conceived by South African artist Kendell Geers in dialogue with Congolese collector Sindika Dokolo. An exciting initiative that reflects the diversity of African aesthetic heritages, free of any European-centric prism and including the influence of diasporas, slave routes, colonialism or independence movements.
