“As you move forward, you have to be able to tell stories of where you came from.” – Nicholas Hlobo

In this short video, South African artist Nicholas Hlobo introduces his sculptures and wall pieces – among them Unduluko (2016) and Intlantsana (2017) – on display in the Hayward Gallery, London exhibition Kiss My Genders, and discusses his use of materials.
