About the author

AICA - Southern Caribbean

AICA of the Southern Caribbean is a regional section of the International Association of Art Critics with members in Barbados, Cuba, Guadeloupe, Guyana, Jamaica, Martinique and Trinidad.

One of the main goals of the South Caribbean AICA is the promotion of communication and interaction between art critics in the region and, consequently, between the art communities of the participating countries. The organization of colloquia and meetings in the different Caribbean regions helps to improve this communication, and these conferences are often accompanied by visits to galleries and artists' studios. The second possibility is the website that links the different members.
