With a collection of some sixty masterpieces on show from the most important public and private collections in Europe and the United States (Louvre Museum, Orsay Museum, Augustins Museum in Toulouse, Städtische Galerie im Lenbachhaus in Munich, Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection in Madrid, Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute in Williamstown), this event aims to reveal a new perspective on this painting through its journey..
